Transcript Requests

Requesting a High School Transcript

CLASS OF 2026 GRADUATES

Members of the class of 2026 who are headed to college or technical school should have requested to have their final official transcript sent to their chosen college or technical school through MEFA Pathway. These requests were submitted in June and are expected to be completed by July 13, 2026.

Colleges will contact incoming students frequently throughout the summer months to remind students to send their official transcript. Please refrain from contacting NBHS unless the following occurs:

  • You have decided to attend a college in the fall that is different from the college that was reported in MEFA Pathway
  • It is after July 13 and you have communicated directly with someone at your college or technical school and they have confirmed that your transcript has not been received.

Should you find yourself in one of those two situations, please email collegeandcareer@newbedfordschools.org

Please note, if you did not apply to college during the school year, or you are applying to an additional college that you did not apply to during the school year, please request transcripts using the instructions below. The above information relates to final transcripts for students who are enrolling in a college they were accepted to during the school year.

NBHS Graduates and Former Students

Transcripts for graduates of New Bedford High School and former New Bedford High School students may be obtained through the main office. Please reach out via email. Be sure to provide the following:

  • your name (and former name if applicable)
  • your year of graduation or intended year of graduation
  • your date of birth
  • a telephone number where you can be reached with questions
  • instructions regarding where to send the transcript

Current NBHS Students

Current NBHS seniors who need transcripts send to colleges and/or technical schools as part of the application process should use MEFA Pathway to submit their requests. Students who need assistance with this process should contact their school counselor directly.
