The Office of Communications and Public Affairs issues NBPS press releases, oversees homepage content, administers social media platforms and responds to media inquiries on behalf of the District to provide clear, concise public information.

The Office of Communications and Public Affairs assists NBPS school principals, district departments, and central office administrators with public communications related to districtwide issues of public interest and media inquiries.

The Office of Communications and Public Affairs promotes the district mission statement and supports the Five Goals of New Bedford Public Schools:
