NBHS Junior College Tours April Break

NBHS Juniors are invited to register for college tours during April break. Four tours are scheduled:

Tuesday, April 18 Fisher College & Lesley University

Wednesday, April 19 New England Institute of Technology

Wednesday, April 19 Roger Williams University

Thursday, April 20 Babson College & Boston College

New Bedford High School Seniors:

The Career Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, March 29, during the day. This is a great opportunity to explore local job opportunities for after graduation. Opportunity for High School Juniors & Seniors!

Discovery Museum Announces 2023 Scholarship Program: Open to high school juniors and seniors in MA, funds can be used for any educational or developmental experience.

The 2023 Discovery Museum Scholarship program will award four one-time $1,500 scholarships to high school juniors or seniors in MA who embody the mission and values of the Museum, to support them on the next leg of their educational journeys. (To learn more about the Discovery Museum, visit For one of the four awards, preference will be given to Discovery Museum past or current employees or volunteers. Award money can be used for any educational or developmental experience, such as college or trade school tuition, travel expenses to support an exciting volunteer opportunity, or costs to provide a learning experience for young children. Video or written applications are being accepted now via Google form at (applicants must log in to Google in their browser to apply) and must be received by March 31, 2023.


Seniors & Parents/Guardians of Seniors:

The 2023-2024 FAFSA opened up on October 1, 2022. If you are planning to attend college next year, you should have submitted your FAFSA by now. If you need help with this process, email [email protected] to request assistance.
